Disney Adults Threaten to Boycott Snow White: "Where's the Sexy, Submissive Maiden I Grew Up With?"

"This isn't the Snow White I grew up with," bellowed Gary "GoofyDad69" Peterson, a prominent member of the "Real American Disney Dads" Facebook group, while adjusting his "Don't Tread On My Magic Kingdom" trucker hat. "Where's the damsel in distress? Where's the blushing, submissive maiden who knows her place?"
The controversy ignited after Zegler, in a recent interview, hinted at a "stronger, more independent" Snow White, prompting online forums to erupt in a frenzy of pearl-clutching and keyboard-smashing.
"They're turning her into some kind of… shudders… feminist!" wailed Brenda "BelleIsMySpiritAnimal" Higgins, a frequent contributor to the "Keep Disney Great Again" website. "I just want to see a pretty girl in a dress, waiting for her prince to rescue her. Is that too much to ask?"
Online commentators have flooded social media with memes depicting Zegler as a "radical leftist" and demanded a return to "classic Disney values," which, according to their interpretation, involves women knowing their place in the kitchen and men knowing their place in the Hall of Presidents.
"I'm not saying I want her to be a doormat," clarified Peterson, while scrolling through suggestive fan art of animated Disney characters. "But a little… ahem… 'traditional' wouldn't hurt."
Disney, in a carefully worded statement, assured fans that the film would "stay true to the spirit of the original story," while secretly adding a scene where Snow White bakes a batch of "patriotic apple pies" and engages in a spirited debate about tax cuts with the Seven Dwarfs.
"I just don't understand why they have to change everything," sighed Zegler, in a recent interview, while discreetly updating her resume. "All I did was suggest that maybe Snow White could have a personality beyond 'waiting to be rescued.'"
Meanwhile, plans are underway for a massive "Disney Adult Freedom Rally" at Walt Disney World, where participants will reportedly wear vintage Mickey Mouse ears, wave "Make America Great Again" flags, and chant slogans like "No Woke Snow White!" and "Bring Back the Sexy Maidens!"
"We're not going to let these liberals ruin our childhood memories," declared Higgins, while browsing Etsy for "patriotic Disney princess" merchandise. "We're going to fight for our right to enjoy our nostalgia, even if it means ignoring all the uncomfortable subtext."
At press time, Peterson was reportedly seen arguing with a cast member over the length of Snow White's skirt in the Magic Kingdom parade, citing "indecency" and "the slippery slope to socialism."
