ANAHEIM, CA — In a sweeping move that industry analysts are now referring to as "the great Arendelle-ification," Disney has announced plans to re-theme the iconic Matterhorn Bobsleds at Disneyland into "Elsa's Snowy Sleigh Adventure." But that's not all! In a surprise announcement, the beloved Mad Tea Party attraction will also be transformed into "Olaf's Ice Tea Sleigh Twist."
"We've been listening to our guests," said a Disney spokesperson, visibly sweating and clutching a stack of "Let It Go" karaoke lyrics. "And by 'listening,' we mean looking at spreadsheets. Our data shows a clear and undeniable demand for more 'Frozen' in our parks. Like, a statistically alarming amount. it's really something."
The decision to re-theme the Matterhorn, rather than build a new, dedicated "Frozen" attraction, was reportedly driven by "fiscal prudence" and "a deep respect for the architectural integrity of existing mountain-shaped structures."
"Let's be real," whispered an anonymous Disney executive, while frantically hiding a bag of ice. "Building a whole new ride is expensive. We already have a mountain. It’s got snow. Sort of. And it goes fast. Elsa has snow. She goes fast. It's synergy. Plus, those teacups were just sitting there, spinning. We can put Olaf in them."

A key factor in the re-theming, executives explained, was the outdated and frankly terrifying nature of the Matterhorn's Abominable Snowman. "Frankly, that yeti was giving kids nightmares," said the spokesperson. "We've had too many reports of traumatized toddlers. Olaf, on the other hand, is universally beloved and significantly less likely to cause lasting psychological damage. He's also easier to animate, and less furry, which saves on animatronic hair budget."
The new "Elsa's Snowy Sleigh Adventure" will feature:
Audio-Animatronic Olaf Yeti: Replacing the Abominable Snowman, Olaf will now pop up at random intervals, delivering heartwarming lines such as, "Some people are worth melting for... right before you plummet into a dark tunnel!"
"Let It Go" On Repeat: The iconic anthem will be blasted throughout the ride, in various remixes and instrumental versions, ensuring guests will be singing it in their sleep for weeks.
Glitter Cannons: Periodically, glitter cannons will erupt, coating riders in a fine layer of shimmering, non-washable "snow."
Projection Mapping on the Mountain: The Matterhorn's exterior will be transformed into a dazzling display of Elsa's ice magic, projected onto the mountain's surface, occasionally blinding riders with its sheer intensity.
Sleigh-Themed Bobsleds: The classic bobsleds will be adorned with plastic reindeer antlers and a thin layer of fake snow, creating a "magical winter wonderland" effect.
Olaf's Ice Tea Sleigh Twist: The teacups will be re-themed to look like miniature sleighs. Olaf's voice will loop, saying lines such as “I Love Warm Hugs!”
"We believe this re-theming will provide our guests with the immersive 'Frozen' experience they crave," the spokesperson continued, while nervously adjusting a tiara. "And, let's be honest, it's a lot easier than explaining why Disneyland is the only park without a 'Frozen' ride."

Park guests, upon hearing the news, had mixed reactions.
"Finally!" exclaimed one child, dressed head-to-toe in "Frozen" merchandise. "I can't wait to ride Elsa's sleigh AND spin with Olaf!"
"But... the Matterhorn? The Tea Cups?" questioned a longtime Disneyland enthusiast, clutching a vintage Matterhorn pin and a Mad Tea Party souvenir. "What about the yeti? What about the... tea?"
"Don't worry," reassured the Disney spokesperson, patting the enthusiast on the shoulder. "We'll probably sell the yeti as a limited-edition plush, and the teacups... well, they're sleighs now. Everything's fine. And significantly more Frozen."
As for the future, Disney executives are reportedly considering re-theming other classic attractions, including "It's a Small World" into "It's a Small Arendelle," "The Haunted Mansion" into "Elsa's Ice Palace of Spooky Fun," and "Jungle Cruise" into "Oaken's Trading Post and Sauna River Expedition." After all, the data doesn't lie, toddlers are easily frightened, and everything spins better with Olaf.
